MOTHER MARY JANE WALTON


Mother Mary J. Walton, a servant of the Lord for over 50 years, was born in Eldorado, Arkansas.She came to know the Lord while in the Sunshine Band at her local church. Because of her monumental experiences and accomplishments, being saved and living for the Lord Jesus Christ is what she holds most dear. Also, Eldorado, Arkansas is where she finished her primary, secondary, and intermediate education. She furthered her education in Pine Bluff, Arkansas where she also attended college.

Mother Walton is a retired Radiology Technologist as well as a retired Practical Nurse. She was married to James A. Walton. The Lord blessed their union by adding one son. Truly living up to the name “MOTHER”, she has many spiritual sons, daughters, and grandchildren who she esteems as her very own. Mother Walton is a faithful member of Whitlock Memorial Church of God in Christ. After many years of dutiful service, she was appointed as Jurisdictional Supervisor of Southwest Michigan – Jurisdiction #4. She has held this position consecutively for 25 years. She has served in many areas of the Women’sDepartment: Local, District, Jurisdictional and International.

She served as District Missionary for 28 years

She is the Area Chairperson for the Michigan / Canadian Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors

Mother Walton also served as an alternate General Supervisor Representative

She is a current member of the National Executive Board

National Chairperson - Special Detail Committee, Red Cards and Compliments

She holds the position of Special Assistant to Circle One Board of Supervisors.

Mother Walton is a Well Renowned National Conference Speaker

Mother Walton is the founder and President of The Summit – an outreach ministry that has been both a blessing and consolation to countless hurting women for over 30 years. Most importantly, she is a faithful worker in the Lord’s vineyard. Through her years of loving and dedicated service, she has taught and spiritually trained many people from all walks of life. Her real ministry and love is for those who are hurting – countless people that she reaches out to on a daily basis. She is well-known in her community as the MOTHER that helps those who are hurting and in pain. Both old and young alike regularly seek out her wise and loving counsel.
